Welcome to England

As though to remind us why Australia is actually a pretty great place to live, England has really turned on her charms for our arrival. Nature missed the summer memo so its cold, grey and foggy. Public transport is more a concept than a reality, so the 6.30 bus to oxford consisted of two buses, one packed full and the other with 3 people aboard. The 7 pm bus showed up at quarter past.

On the other hand, we survived another long haul flight. Screaming babies only a problem on the Syd-Taiwan leg. Just enough movies to keep me entertained. Perfectly edible meals, the vegetarian ones anyway. And the bus did show up, eventually, to take us to the hot meal and showers awaiting us at the Bent House, Kidlington. Now if we can just stay awake a couple hours longer…
